Scarlett Choi
An expressive performer and the artistic voice behind Romantic Period.

Hong Kong violinist Scarlett Choi combines classical performance, musical direction and a commitment to developing emerging musicians.
A graduate of the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Music programme at Hong Kong Baptist University, Scarlett has worked with the Asian Youth Orchestra, Gustav Mahler Orchestra, Collegium Musicum Hong Kong and other orchestral and chamber ensembles. Her training has included studies with Leung Kin Fung, Patrick Yim and Amelia Chan.
Her work reaches beyond the concert hall into recordings and live performances with Hong Kong popular music artists. That experience informs her approach to event programming: polished performances shaped around the atmosphere, timing and character of each occasion.
Alongside her performance career, Scarlett teaches violin and viola and is involved in nurturing the next generation of young musicians. As Romantic Period’s Music Director, she oversees the musical direction of the ensemble and its arrangements for private and public events.
